## The challenge

A retailer of premium sneakers and streetwear sells to young, mobile-first shoppers who want proof that every item is genuine. Its old website was hard to navigate, many customer enquiries were about authenticity rather than buying, and paper-based stock tracking led to overselling. Drops and flash sales needed a platform that wouldn't fall over.

## Our approach

We built a React Native app, plus a progressive web app for desktop, with fast search, personalised feeds and live chat. Shoppers scan a QR code or serial number to see a verified certificate for each item. A TensorFlow recommendation engine personalises product carousels and bundles.

Warehouse inventory updates in real time, which stops overselling and triggers restock alerts. Node.js microservices on AWS with Elasticsearch and Redis keep search fast during drops, and social sharing and referrals bring new customers in.
